THE FOUNDATION

BARONS OF BAROSSA HEADQUARTERS

The Barons of Barossa have supported the Barossa community in numerous ways since they established their Fraternity in 1974. Over the years they have provided in kind support of equipment and generous financial assistance to the Nuriootpa and Faith wine education centres, Roseworthy campus, Barossa Regional Art Gallery, Barossa Vintage Festival and sponsorships of various community events.

Initially, donations were made by generous winemaker Barons but in recent years more sustainable ways of raising funds to support local initiatives were required. The Grand Council have now established the Barons of Barossa Foundation which will ensure financial longevity providing regular income from investments and business activities.

BARONS FOUNDATION

The Barons Foundation seeks applications for funding for ideas and projects which fulfil the Barons Charter. The Foundation is fully funded by Baron enterprises and is independent of government. Financial support of recipients is at the sole discretion of the Foundation Committee and the Barons Grand Council, to which the committee answers.
